I built a new cabin in 2012. Right next to the old cabin.

The old cabin had 2x4 framed walls w/ minimal insulation, and no insulation in the floor, so matter how hot you got it inside in the evenings during the winter, it'd always be around 32F or less when you work in the morning. As my mom put it, "You'd have an easier time getting a girlfriend if you had some heat around here." As my dad put it, "Hope you don't freeze to death."

The new cabin is a timber-frame structure with a strawbale wrap. Cob plastered inside and out. Heated by a 1937 Norge vaporizing oil burning heater running on waste fryer oil from the local Vietnam Noodle. Very warm and cozy it is.

The 2nd half of the album is lumped into December because I spent all summer and fall building the new cabin.

The little triangle thing in the lower right is a test for a bottle house, which I plan to built summer 2013.

All the songs, except for 121912, were recorded with this guitar: sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/6404_911878660696_6851727_n.jpg . 121912 was recorded with a FirstAct bass w/ the frets pulled.

From 112412 onward, all the songs were recorded with a Fender Mini Deluxe 5 watt battery powered amp w/ 3 inch speaker.

So disappointed the world didn't end on December 21st!
